Because is difficult to know with detail all the topics discussed in the book (I think nobody can) not all chapters are homogeneously written. However, it is a very good starting point to understand the economy behind energy markets. Perhaps the main problem (or issue) is that doesn't have practical examples as you may expect.
I was initially hesitant given that the author's credentials seem non-existent. But after I went through the book I found it quite comprehensive and useful. Indeed, I have never seen any other work that does as good a job.

This book is so poorly typeset that is eligible and virtually useless. The chapter structure looks fine and the book looks promising however, it is riddled with grammatical and typographical errors and poor english usage. In addition large parts of the book have the equations either completely missing or so poorly typeset as to be incomprehensible. Awful book avoid avoid at all costs.
